I’ve realised I need to create something under the topic PERSONA
This is what i’m working towards.
How would you describe your idea in 50 words max?
A PERSONA is a strategic mask of identity in public, the public image of one’s personality, the social role that one adopts, or simply a fictional character. It is also considered “an intermediary between the individual and the institution.”
PERSONA will explore the ways in which women are visually perceived. I want to explore an INTERNET GIRL persona, which reflects how I perceive the current feeling of being a young adult online.

March 9th
Test shoot with Elisa (my model)
I just wanted to explore some of my initial ideas from my mood board.
March 10th
I have printed some of the images at LCC and added some stickers to the work. I want to make it mixed media but i dont think i like how these have turned out.
I was looking at Ramisha Sattar’s work with riso printing and want to try that instead. Then i can scan those into photoshop and have a more textured effect to some of the images through that.
March 12th
The riso induction was really easy. I just need to watch the videos on the moodle to see how to correctly photoshop all the images in their different channels so i can put each individual colour on a different PDF
March 23rd & 25th
I printed some of my images from the test shoot but the process for each individual print in the colours took a lot longer than i expected.
April 18th
final shoot with heavy inspiration taken from petra collins. I used a sunset lamp with the flash for a lot of my images and its made an interesting effect. I’m going to do some photoshopping and see how i can bring more colour to the images through that.
